Gopher Website Release w/video interviews

As I mentioned; the Gophers are the most widely covered college hockey team.  The above links all have some interesting information.  Check them out.

I'll fire up the "chat room" about 15 minutes before game time.  That's all.  See you at game time.  Go Seawolves!

No GCI webcast, just AM 550 Anchorage and GCI channel 1. It said a live broadcast but i think it's delayed until 8.

Wonder if Donald is stuck in traffic somewhere or something?

:o(

At least UAA scored first, that was a critical benchmark to reach for today's game, as pointed out by Donald.

The GCI channel said it would be on at 8:00 p.m. a little earlier, now they've changed their screen to say 7:00 p.m.

I just got here ... sorry I screwed the pooch on this one.

But since I did I'm just going to stay away from the computer so I don't see any more scores and can watch it on tape delay.

Sorry.

Donald,

Can't you just put the old chat up that we used last time instead of that new fancy thing that no one knows how to work?

We missed you!

:O)

Goofs up 3-1

Anonymous said...

UGH! 4-1!

alaskana said...

I think we gave the Goofers their confidence back. :(

Anonymous said...

now 5-1.....second short handed goal for the Goofs...sheesh!

Anonymous said...

No excuse for UAA coming up so short on their own pp, and giving up 2 shorties? Come on guys, you can't run and gun with the Gophers.

Regroup and get the split on Sunday.

Anonymous said...

What a thumping dished out by the lowly Gophers. 2 shorties? The Seawolves are in real trouble.

Anonymous said...

"The Golden Chosen Minnesota High School All-Star Draft Picks are 0-3-1 after being shutout 3-0 on their home ice and on consecutive nights by DU".

But good enuf to handle the Seawolves 5-1. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR I was watching the tape delay when it was 1-1 and my friend called and told me the outcome. should have never answered the phone :(

Alaskana said...

Jeff: yup, the unintentional spoiler.Till Sunday...

Nothing sweeter than being a Gophers fan in Anchorage reading the ADN sports at Kaladi Bros. coffee tomorrow morning. Nice win against a very inferior opponent!

Anonymous said...

Oh, the growing pains, I think it all started with Haddad's stupid tripping penalty...........

Anyone else agree?

I'd hate to love it when people get hurt, but next week's stellar goalie we were going to face, got sliced open at MSU tonight. So he may not have enough rest to play up in the Sully. Full story (sort of) @:

UAA had most of the breaks with the calls tonight, and could only put one puck in the net. Come on Shyiak. Put a competitive team on the ice.

Looks like UAA's win last Saturday was much more North Dakota sleepwalking the 2nd and 3rd periods. UAA sucks. #17 for UAA is a douche bag and is gonna get his due on Sunday.

akhockeyfanatic said...

Anon 10:12 pm

Sorry good teams don't sleep walk during any period of any game. You and others just cant accept the fact that ND wasn't the better time that night.

And.......at the end of the season, we'll see who says UAA sucks. There's a lot of hockey to be played between now and then.

Be ready for a different game on Sunday. Go Seawolves!

Bryce was flopping all over last night, and let is several very soft goals. It's going to be a hard decision for the coach who he will start on Sunday.

Get naslund off the top power play unit with grant and lunden, he is lost out there, and to slow. Why are we wasting clark on the second uint. Is shyiak blind or something. Or does naslund have a one way contract. He is not performing or hitting anyone.
