Colton Beck Not a UAA Recruit

Forget what I said in my last post about Barry Beck's nephew coming to UAA. He ain't. Chris Heisenberg emailed me this morning to apologize for the mistake. Of course I accepted his apology because I understand his grandfather's "Uncertainty Principle" (ok ... I don't really understand it ... even real Quantum Physicists have a hard time with it and just learn to accept it).

I considered deleting the post. But that might be construed as being nice to the folks in Fairbanks.

CRAP. Come on UAA, get it together! Don't let UA_ out recruit us.

When UAA whoops Fairbanks asses again this year, he'll realize he made the WRONG choice. ;)

His family has good hockey genes but obviously not much in terms of smarts.

UAF has an abundance of players headed their way from Western Canada's junior ranks. One has to wonder where they'll find room for them all.

Oh no, not another Yoda!!! Maybe Yoda wasn't responsible for all the over recruiting during his one year at UA_. Not a good sign.

it was too good to be true

Anon@1040 came here from Bismarck, ND ... not Fairbanks. It's kinda creepy that he/she or she/he or whatever used a Google search of my name to get here.

Most Google searches used to get here are ...
UAA Hockey Blog ...
Seawolves Blog ...
and stuff like that.

Hi Bismarck ... we love your team too ... even if you are a strange potential stalker creepy fuck.

He probably heard we sit our top goal scorers out, and decided to go to uaf.

Kinda like what Ferguson is doing with Carlo Finucci? He came in as the BCHL's top scorer, and has only played in half the games this season. Too funny _airbanks fan.

Fairbanks fan: That must explain why UA_ has so many donuts. You know, the powdered sugar kind that you eat? I believe they are:

Maine = 0
Bowling Green = 0
Miami = 0
UNO = 0
Notre Dame = 0
Notre Dame = 0
NMU = 0

How do you like them donuts UA_?

Anon @ 10:40:

That was poetic. Do you think a lady said that? This specimen is male and has not seen a vagina during his 36 year existence.

From top to bottom this string of comments is the worst ever. Some of you are going to be benched if you don't pick it up.

Seriously?!
You can't sit our top posters.
How do you expect your top posters to post if you sit them out?
und, minnesota, and wisconsin do not sit their top posters.
We need to see our posters in the line up this weekend.

:)

You mean like hapless trolls like yourself going onto other people's blogs, ripping them, and then disappearing? Too good!

It will hurt if he turns out to be the second coming of Barry Beck - he was a damn good hockey player. Damn! Colton will feel the hurt when UAA whoops up on UAF. Go Wolves! I say down with the University of Athletic Failure = UAF

Both the Leading scorer from the Aberta League and the Leading scorer from the BC league have barely played for UAF. Thats how big a jump it is to D 1 College Hockey.. even the shitty CCHA!!!

Team Discipline must be enforced this weekend. If you take 9 penalties against St Cloud were Done...Players will respond if you take away their ice time no MATTER WHO IT IS. For us to improve any further this has to be enforced by taking away ice time for bad penalties. A line must be drawn in the sand and there will be immediate results. Words only go so far so A different, much harsher direction is needed because UAA is the most penalized team in the League. Words wont work its time for the Sword. Bad Penalties ...YOU SIT!!!

Average penalties per game wcha

Minnesota 21.6
minnesota state 20.6
anchorage 19.9
wisconsin 19.9
north dakota 19.0
minnesto duluth 18.1
denver 18.0
colorado 16.2
st. cloud 15.8
michigan 14.1

St. cloud and michigan are 8th and 10th in the league in the standings
less penalties have not helped them.
St. cloud has scored 101 goasl this year, ancorage 67.

Sit your top scorers and playmakers out and we will stay in 9th. Teach the team to kill of penalties like North Dakota.
Play aggressive, last week we scored short handed in the 3rd.
Overtime goal was not sitting back waiting for thinks to happen.
We have the talent, play as a team and the results will come.

Tp: All seawolves fans, let's pack the arena and show our support for the seawolves. Some of these players will go on to play pro hockey, let's make sure they have positive things to say about anchorage, alaska.
