It's Not a "Great" Day To Be a Seawolf

Dr. Steve Cobb had much to do with this blog's existence.  Conversations I had with him nearly a dozen years ago led to me starting this.  His support and encouragement helped me grow it to eventually gain credentials from UAA Athletics.

Writing here was honestly one of the highlights of my non-personal life.  With the news yesterday of Dr. Cobb's passing, I could think of no better way to extend his legacy than by starting to write here again with an ongoing dedication to him.  He was a regular reader here and provided gentle guidance at times as well as the occasional important tidbit.  I only wish I'd restarted this a couple of weeks ago.

I hope that as I venture back onto these page that I write things that would make him proud.  I shall endeavor to that standard at a minimum.

Dr. Cobb touched more lives than I can begin to imagine.  He will be missed by them ... and me.  Today is not a great day to be a Seawolf.  But because of Steve Cobb, tomorrow will be.

Check back soon for my 2014-15 preseason preview.

Sorry to read of the situation. Glad you are back. I'll be sure to stop by from time to time.

Glad to see you brought this blog back, Donald, and that was a nice tribute to Dr. Cobb.
