Sioux Blogger "Brandon" Wins Biggest Douchebag Contest

Sioux Yeah Yeah blogger Brandon today capped off a series of stupid comments on USCHO's fan forum with a comment who's hatefulness is only rivaled by it's ignorance.  His comment in it's entirety ...
I personally know 3 women that got raped and 1 that falsely claimed it. Therefore, the odds are 25% to my knowledge that a rape claim will be false.

And as I said, a LOT of women ask for it. They dress like hookers, they flirt constantly, then wonder why the guys throw themselves at the woman. Honestly, I'm going to estimate 90% of women had a rape coming.
For a little background this "person" (a term I use loosely), thinks that because he "does it all the time" that he can be forgiven for calling women in general "whores" and passing it off as "joking". Women of Denver, Colorado be warned.  No doubt as with many cities, there are plenty of asshole men running around ... but thankfully, today one has completely outed himself and you can be aware that a dick on legs is amongst you.

Sure I know college hockey fans can act ignorantly.  In more than a decade of online perusing and participating, I've seen some pretty big whoppers.  But nothing in my experience has reached the level of ignorance that this Sioux fan and blogger has propagated today.  Retroactive abortion isn't realistic option since we don't have time machines.  But it would be appropriate in this case.  Had this particular person never existed on the Earth, then the sum total of humanity would be elevated.

I question whether he has known ANY women that got raped.  Such lying is common amongst sociopaths as they believe it gives them some sort of standing for their further comments.  I'm not saying that Brandon raped 4 women, but I'd guess that to be the most likely method of him "personally knowing" any rape victim.  So, he starts with a lie then moves to comments that have long been refuted and identified as grotesquely mysoginistic.  No woman ever "asks" to be raped.  No style of dressing invites rape.  No level of flirting excuses a rapist.

This fucking idiot (and he is perhaps the biggest fucking idiot college hockey fan) has no idea that rape is a crime of violence and not a sex crime.

If you know this person, go slap his mother and throw his father up against the wall because neither of them practiced anything like decent parenting on this vile demi-human.  If this person posts on your fan forum, ban him permanently.  If you know someone that is dating this loser, convince her to stop.   Here's what he said about his "girlfriend" (another term used loosely) ...
"she know if she hits me, I'm hitting back, and a helluva lot harder then she will hit me"
If you associate with this person in some friendly manner; then your personal character comes into question if that association continues.  If you employ this person.  Fire him.  If you're a voter registrar, remove him from the rolls.  If you're a clerk of the court, bar him from jury duty.  If you're his neighbor, go piss on his lawn.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no amount of apologizing or begging forgiveness that can mitigate such a publicly made statement.  Brandon, you're a waste of human skin.  Seriously.  Your existence itself is vile.  I do a fair amount of generalizing here, but to call out this individual in this manner is new for me.  If I knew this cat's last name I'd have posted it here.  If you know his last name, feel free to leave it in the comment section.

OH ... I hear some of these names once in while through the grapevine. I never really connect exactly who is who though. It's usually not of particular interest to me.

It's amazing these days what is said in these USCHO threads ... I see stuff nearly everyday that exceeds the offensiveness of anything I ever posted in that garbage heap.

Nice consistent management over there ... lol.

Really makes you wonder what his father figure was like huh?

We got some real big help from DU and UW, not allowing MIN and MSU to gain any points this weekend.

this team still has a chance to slip in to 7 th place.
all the best this weekend.

as of right now on the pairwise, UAA has the toughest schedule

I highly disagree with "brandon's" comments as a person and a sioux fan so when UAA fans call that typical I get confused. I also think that stereotype is humorous since alaska has such a high rate of domestic violence a rate that is higher than ND's...brandon is an idiot, don't get in line behind him.

I don't find it "typical" of UND fans, in fact there are many Sioux fans who are great. Dirty, however, is not one of them. :)

Oh yeah, and go to this blog for further reading on Brandon.

Scroll down to about the middle of the page for the entry entitled "Sioux Fan Sells Out". It's quite amusing. :)

Sue,
Dirty is sort of like a "min-Donald" without the the class that I always exude here. He learned well from me how to wind-up people back when I was king of USCHO.

You'd hate me if you were a fan of another WCHA team instead of the Seawolves.

Anon(s),
Yes ... all Sioux fans (much as I hate them) shouldn't be labeled as rape-enablers. Let's just stick to labeling the ones who support their name/logo as racists ok?

Why do you think Dirty is on my wall? LOL

a few things ...

1. i'm engaged to brandon. yes, i know what i'm getting into and no, it's not as bad as it's made out to be here.

2. we've had discussions about this subject and we don't exactly see eye-to-eye on it. i do think he should learn to phrase things in a way that isn't so abrasive and offensive and that will get his point across much better, but oh well.

3. in our discussion about the subject (which was brought up because i learned of the post he made), he did agree that no woman flat out asks to be raped. i told him that it's tough for a woman to go out, want to dress cute (because let's face it, women dress for other women; not for guys, ultimately) and not have the fear that some guy is going to take advantage of her or automatically want sex just because she's dressed provocatively.

on the other hand, i do see his point how many women DO go out dressed like common street walkers (and not only out to clubs/parties, either; i see them at the mall) and get drunk and flirt and then canNOT believe that some guy has the audacity to try and get some. yeah, the girls aren't asking for it, but at the same point, they should know that their actions will have results that are unintended. do i think it's right? hell no, but since that IS the way things are, i think women have to be smarter to avoid putting themselves in possibly compromising situations. i also think that men should realize that not every chick dressed provocatively wants to get laid, as well.

he did see where i was coming from, and commented on how frustrating it is that a lot of women claim rape after the fact, particularly in high-profile cases. that i don't agree with at all and think it's awful that my gender would do such a thing just for some coin or their 15 minutes of fame.

4. as for the last bolded quote ... i don't know what context it was in. if i hit him, it's in play and never maliciously. he may have been saying in the case of anger, but neither of us condone domestic violence ... in either the case of the man on woman or woman on man.

5. in closing (and sorry for taking up the comment space), brandon is not as bad as he apparently likes to make himself out to be. he says stupid * that i get angry with him for and trust me, i call him out on it. i'm also going to ask him in what context that last bolded comment was made because really, now i'm curious.

once again, i didn't mean to ramble on, but i had to chime in.

so ... about those seawolves ... damn mavericks.

Brandon is a very dear friend of mine. I completely agree with T. Next time, instead of lashing out via blog, strike up a conversation. Oh, wait, that would take a set...

Donald Dunlop said...

LindsayAnn,
As I'm sure "T" would agree ... nevertheless what was said was said. There was a discussion and he said "THAT" .... "THAT" doesn't get explained away. "THAT" stays there. And "THAT" was stupid enough to get called out both there and here.

And more importantly deary, I didn't say it. So don't even try to make me the bad guy. I have more than seen exactly what "trying to start a conversation" with your friend leads to on the internet. He's long been a clucking troll 2nd class on the internet.

It wasn't hyperbole for me (even with all the offensive things I'm known for saying) to point out the literal height of douche-baggery that Brandon perpetrated.

Now rather than feeling sympathy because your friend said something ignorant ... perhaps you should see the unfortunate position it put his fiance in.

She had to come comment here ... he put her in that position. And from her admissions that it isn't the first time Brandon has said something stupid it won't be her last time explaining for him on some blog somewhere.

As for Brandon. He'd be smart to take his lumps and learn his lesson. Of course, there's always room for one more comment ... isn't there Brandon?

I'll give you the last word free of comment from me. Use it wisely ...
