KRDO in Colorado Springs is reporting that the WCHA will review the suspensions today. So far, six UAA and five CC players were handed game disqualification penalties and must sit out the next game.
The Colorado Springs Gazette is reporting that the UAA suspensions may be staggered due to the Seawolf injury situation.

I say that we take the suspensions on Friday and come back strong on Saturday and kick the Pios rearends.
I'd tend to agree. Sit the "Seawolf Six" on Friday. The bench won't be that short.
Interesting that nobody is really pissed at the players for this. Had this happened in another year when we sucked and disliked our coach I know that I would have said things like undisciplined, thugs etc. Now I look at it as not taking any crap, standing up for your teammates, and a great bonding experience. Funny how the situation determines how we view the event.
I think that's a reflection on the team this season. They've worked hard and played well. It's not like they've resorted to goonery because they lack talent or effort.
I'll be interested to see where this takes them. Sometimes a good brawl is a great catalyst.
I'm actually glad that they kicked some ass, not mad. They had a hard fought weekend and this weekend will just prove how much of a TEAM we really are. The penalties hopefully won't make that big of a difference, plus we get to see some freshmen who rarely play get out there.
from what i hear cc started the whole mess good job ua way to protect eachother.
If CC started it all, too bad they don't have as many players with DQ's as UAA does.
