Tommy Grant of the BCHL's Westside Warriors has secured a scholarship to attend UAA next season. The 6'2" 175lb left-handed forward has scored 13g-21a in 29 games this season (11 games with Quesnel included). Tommy's scoring output this season has been coming at basically triple the rate of his first 2 years in the BCHL.
He is the leading scorer on his team. Westside Coach Mark Howell said, "Tommy has been a very consistent player for us this season, and is one of the players we count on night in and night out." His 34 points put him 33rd on the points leader list. His 93 penalty minutes put him at 10th in that list.
Tommy turned 20 on August 29th. His experience in the tough BCHL should help him make the transition to D-1 hockey next year. I'll follow him through this season (along with the other recruits) and provide some regular information. Thanks to "dude" for the tip.

On the Nov. 24th game, Grant had 1 goal and 4 assists! Wow, looks pretty solid.
Still looking for that goalie.
