Nathan Lawson: INCH Player of the Week

Inside College Hockey has named Nathan Lawson their Player of the Week for his performance this past weekend vs. UND. His 56 saves on 60 shots was one of the keys to the sweep of the weekend series but I have to add that the 8 (or so) saves he made in the last 2 minutes of Saturday's game was highlight reel stuff. Congratulations to Nathan on this award he certainly deserves the recognition.

He's still ugly and quirky though! :) However, he and I did lock eyes in Mankato...so maybe I passed on some mojo of mine to him or something:) HA HA!

Does he spray Gatorade all over his face at every game...or just in Kato?

Just in Kato, cause he doesn't want to see the ugly purple jersey's that they wear down there :)

And by the way of course he is weird, he is a goalie!!! A hard rubber puck flying at you at up to one hundred miles per hour, hmmm sounds sane to me.

Not gatorade, water. LOL. He's been doing that for years now.

Kudos Nathan.

No, it was really Gatorade when he was in Kato. At first I assumed it was water but then realized it was bright yellow/green! Maybe we ended up locking eyes because I was staring at him in disbelief that he was spraying Gatorade all over his face:) OR he found my blog and figured out I'm the one who said he was ugly...hmm...

Never seen him use gatorade at home. Maybe he grabbed the wrong bottle. Not to cool to dump gatorade into your face.
